Hi guys... Do you have a favorite place? Which one do you like? Modern place, or the nature one? If you bored with modern place, I have a nice nature place for you, it' a gorgeous Temple. Yes, I am talking about Jolotundo Temple.
Jolotundo Temple is one of the relics of the king Airlangga, it's located on the slopes of Penanggungan. precisely Seloliman Village, Trawas, Mojokerto. It's about 7 kilometer from my house and 30 kilometers From UMSIDA. It can be reached by motorcycle or private cars. But you should be careful due the path climbs sharply.
This temple was built by a Balinese King - Udayara in 997 BC, when he married a princes from Java.
This temple is incredibly awesome. There are many trees in there. It's very quite and silence. The air is insanely fresh. Also there are a pool, you can have a bath because there are pool and fishpond. The pool is divided into male and female swimming areas. The fishpond filled with many large fish, such as koi fish, mujair etc. The water is terribly clean and cold. Based on research, the water in this pretty temple is the best water quality in the world and it has very high mineral content. The uniqueness of this water flow is never diminished even though the dry season is coming, Amazing! I ever had a bath on there, but my phone fell so badly on that pool, forget it.
In the other hand, this place is also very mystical. Particular on the 1st night of Muharram or 1 Suro right on the full moon, Jolotundo fulfilled with many visitors. Mostly for conducting rituals, and others just enjoy a splash of the full moon in. Usually Hindus also has a ritual in this temple. They dress attire whiteness and they sit cross-legged in the Court of the temple, just above fish ponds, and do the meditation.
